Condolence & Memory Journal

To the Hart family,
I did some yard work several times especially in the fall with all the leaves for your Father and Mother (up on King's Rd?) back sometime between 1973-1979 while I was at Marshall. Your parents were so very nice to me and I have never forgotten.
Being a student I was not financially secure and what I made from the yard worked was welcomed. I must admit your dad let me take all the pop
bottles from the garage and 'cash them in.'
I recall that they had taken a trip around the world during those years.
I am now married and living in Birmingham but when I saw that your
Mom had died I had to tell you I am sorry.
From a snapshot in time one of my fond memories of Marshall was the chance to meet your Mother and Dad.
Kindest Regards, Mark Dawkins

Dear Cathy and family-our deepest sympathy goes to all-I remember your mom being so excited when each of the boys were born and her eyes would light up each time she came to visit them on Gordon Dr--you are so much like your mother--you have so many of her postive qualities--remember her memories as you and yours go through life-thats the best tribute you can give her--Reg and Char

Dear Mary, Donny & Cathy,
How sad I feel at this news. You are in my higher thoughts and prayers. There was no one to match Ruth's elegance, kindness, beauty and courage. We are all lifted to have known her.

Tom and I are so sorry to hear of your Mother's death. We just celebrated our 50th anniversary and have been looking at pictures of you Cathy as our junior bridesmaid. Ruth had a shower for us and we have fond memories of her and her wonderful hospitality. You all will be in our hearts and prayers. Love, Martha
